Small Bites of Food Facts

When you were a kid and your mom would set a plate of food in front of you, it often seemed a daunting task that you could actually eat it all, especially if there were certain foods on that plate that weren’t your favorite things.
Then, your mom would tell you to just take some "small bites" and pretty soon, before you knew it, your plate would be empty and your tummy would be full of all the good things you needed to grow healthy and strong. It may not have always worked that way, but it’s still a great concept!
In the same way, do you sometimes find that the vast amount of information available about healthy eating is just too much to take in all at once? You are really interested in eating healthy and feeling well, but the task of consuming everything in the “information pantry,” so to speak, can be formidable.
It is sometimes much easier to obtain your knowledge in small, manageable bites and in a way that is useful, today, right now. This approach makes it possible for you to improve your eating habits for better health and longevity in incremental steps, one piece at a time.
Bit by Bit
The purpose of this page is to provide those bits of information on a variety of healthy eating topics. Just choose a topic and click on the link to find a quick take on the subject at hand. These small bites will generally be in an easy-to-read, list format that you can take with you and act upon as you seek to improve your lifestyle.
The best part is that if you continue to take small bites on a regular basis, ultimately you will have consumed the whole meal, and your mind will be full of the things you need to know to reach your goal of eating healthy and living well.
